Desktop Host Configuration Utility
Background: Desktop Host Configuration Utility is a utility that is run on a Windows Virtual Machine. Desktop Host Configuration Utility automates the process of converting a Windows Server or Windows Desktop Operating System to a readily-deployable Windows Remote Desktop Services Session Host, Citrix Desktop Host, or Windows Desktop OS as a single-session host for Citrix ICA access. The Desktop Host Configruation Utility can also upgrade existing deployed Desktop Hosts to the latest configuration/software settings. It also may be used to apply best practice security policies and configurations and associate existing Active Directory Security Groups with the right to access the system via RDP or ICA. ICA connections may be initiated by End Users via CloudConnect. Desktop Host Configuration Utility supports the current release of Windows Server and Windows Desktop Operating System. In addition, it supports the two prior most recent releases of the Windows Server Operating System.
